Adnan Butt

With over 20 years of Managerial experience, Adnan is a Hotelier by profession and a Trainer by passion.  Having achieved a B.Sc. in Hotel & Restaurant Management from the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel & Restaurant Management, University of Houston, Texas he is a Certified Hospitality Trainer (CHT) by the Educational Institute-EI-AHLA.

Adnan with the vision of Developing People is the founder and Managing Director of Touch Points. He has held various Managerial positions in Hotel Operations, HR, and Training Management with Hotel chains including JUMEIRAH and ACCOR in Dubai and the Sheraton in the U.S.  In Malaysia, as Corporate Director of HR and Training, Adnan had overcome complex business challenges and made high stake decisions using experienced-based judgments, solid professional ethics and
irreproachable integrity.

As Vice President of Human Resources for Hashoo Group of Hotels, Adnan led a wide range of Human Resources and Training activities across the nationwide enterprise of approximately 7000 Associates, guiding in resolving strategic human resource issues and developing cross-enterprise alliances to align HR with business strategy in a multi-location environment. Adnan’s contributions mainly have been achieved by improving performance measurement systems, structuring processes for recruiting top talent, compensation and benefits, retention strategies, due diligence, and strategic planning. Critical skill sets include pre & post Hotel openings, takeovers, and re-flagging.  Neuro-Link’s research and contents offerings convinced him to become a Corporate Partner because “the Middle East region required such interventions in the Learning and Development arena.”

In addition, Adnan has always had a passion for developing instructional systems for “Corporate Training Programs” / Brand-specific programs. For over a decade, he has devoted his time to focus on principles and practices that truly result in value creation and designed many corporate training programs for Académie ACCOR Middle East, ALBA, Bahrain Institute of Hospitality Management (BIHR), and The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management.
