Edith Tiencken

Edith Tiencken provides insights, innovative strategies, and tools for business growth to Senior Leaders, Business Owners, and Consultants. Her experience of more than 25 years along with her passion for exploring and developing both people and business potential, and facing business challenges has driven progressive success in facilitating positive cultural change, organizational learning, and building high-performance organizations. Along with her collaborative approach, she enables leaders to develop personalized targeted strategies and focused execution, capitalizing on their unique strengths and differentiators.

In addition to her consultancy, Edith is the President of Smart Brain Insights (SBI, Inc.) as well as the Executive Partner of Neuro-Link, Inc., directly managing Neuro-Link for Las Americas. She believes in helping clients Out-Think, Out-Learn, and Out-Perform by identifying and developing capabilities to innovate and create agile workforces.

She is a proponent of Neuro-Agility™ in the workplace and the Neuroscience of Learning as a Certified Master Practitioner and Facilitator of Neuro-Link and their Emotional Intelligence Program based on the Neuroscience.

Her career as Executive Leader and Manager in domestic and international markets began in General Electric in the areas of Human Resources, Quality Programs, and Organizational Development, progressively moving into higher levels of business operations. Her career journey expanded to Executive roles and Business
Consulting crossing a diversity of businesses including Financial Services, Mental Healthcare, and Talent Management Consulting Solutions including International Business Development and Global Management.

Within her years of experience, Edith has worked with organizations in the US, Latin America, Canada, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Throughout the years, Edith has been a guest and public speaker for numerous events in private enterprises, educational institutions, social and professional organizations, and diverse occupational groups, where she has positively impacted thousands of professionals in leading change and improving leadership effectiveness.

Edith holds numerous certifications and advanced education, including Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR), Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Certified Coach Executive (CCE), Strategy Facilitator, Design Thinking Practitioner, and Facilitator, and Project Management (PM).

She is an active member of several professional organizations such as the American Psychological Association (APA), Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Inc. (SIOP), Society Human Resources Management (SHRM), and the Association for Training and Development (ATD) among others. She has served
on several boards in the community including Junior Achievement, Early Learning Coalition, and Polk County Workforce Innovation Board.

Edith completed coursework for her Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology at Walden University, focusing on Business Consulting and Change Leadership. She graduated with a BS degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and studied accounting and business administration at the Pontifical Catholic University in Puerto Rico. Edith is also a graduate of Technical Leadership Development; Process Consulting (Black Belt Six Sigma), and several other courses at General Electric Management School, GE Crotonville.
